Patterns with rotations of order 2, mirror lines and star polygons
There are still 200 tiling patterns to choose from, so an extra
tests must be made to reduce the number to check visually. We
do this by selecting the star polygons in the pattern as follows:
The first group is where the star polygons consist of solely
2-pointed stars or diamonds, for example:
The second group are those tilings containing 8-pointed stars,
for example:
The third group consists of those tilings containing a 10-pointed
star (but no 8-pointed star). For example:
The last group consist of the rest. The example here contains
a 6-pointed star but no 8-pt or 10-pt star:
