Ceramic mosaic dados on the walls of the central window alcoves of the east and west walls in the Salon de Comares. Once much damaged near the window apertures, which were formerly open to the elements, they have now been fully restored. The same pattern occurs as dados in the end chambers of the Sala de la Barca, some coloured as here, some with green instead of brown - see The Alhambra.
