In the Generalife, this pattern occurs as a high stucco frieze above the windows of the small mirador on the west side of the long pool. It also occurs as small stucco squares in the mirador of the north pavilion, and in the main hall of the same pavilion. It is also incorporated in the ceramic mosaic dado compositions each side of the entrance to the main hall in the Partal tower.
